In the main programme, you can enjoy music in nature. Performed by hundreds of Dutch and international top artists, ‘classical’ music is turned inside out and upside down. Enjoy a wood full of music in the beautiful Oranjewoud Parkland.
A special program segment within the main program is site-specific music.
Festival hub De Proeftuin is the central meeting point of Oranjewoud Festival. There you can enjoy singer-songwriters and cool bands to international top artists from the main program, surrounded by cozy terraces where you can eat and drink.
FamilyZone is a complete three-day children’s festival packed with workshops and performances for young and old.
Site-specific music and international symposium
Oranjewoud Festival has been positioning itself since 2014 through (the development of) site-specific music, aiming to play a leading role in this field. Site-specific music is closely connected to a particular place. The composition, concept, and/or performance are specially designed for the unique characteristics of that location. The place thus becomes an essential part of the musical work.
