The Oranjewoud Festival has an ongoing collaboration with the Dutch Violin Competition. Every two years, a winner of the prestigious Oskar Back Concours is featured at the festival. This year it is violinist Luna van Leeuwen, who convincingly won second prize at the end of January.
“The jury enjoyed Luna’s lyrical, nuanced, and highly spirited playing, full of joy.”
Luna performs works by, among others, Johannes Brahms, accompanied by pianist Natasja Douma.
