Carte blanche for students of Bornego College

Camping Sun Salutation

A campsite where the same group of campers gathers every year. Everything is familiar and orderly until a new camper, Peter, pitches his tent. The campers seem like one close-knit group, with rules no one ever questions. And what seems absurd to Peter appears perfectly normal to everyone else. The longer he stays, the harder it becomes to hold on to his own truth.

But while Peter is finding his place, something begins to change. The one who first tried to adapt to the group slowly gains influence himself. And then the question arises: what does power do to someone who never went looking for it?

Camping de Zonnegroet is an absurdist and unsettling performance about power, influence, and the thin line between discovering who you are and becoming who the group turns you into. A performance about belief, truth, and power, inspired by today’s post-truth politics. NOAHspeelt. zooms in on the mechanisms behind group dynamics and manipulation. A performance that will make you laugh, make you doubt, and quietly draw you along with a system that may not be as harmless as it seems.

For iZone, Oranjewoud Festival is partnering in 2026 with students from Bornego College in Heerenveen. From January through May, the students receive lessons covering everything they need to know about organising a festival. Led by pianist and Head of Education Andrea Vasi, they take masterclasses in programming, production & technology, and marketing from members of the festival team. As a bonus, participants also receive a spoken word masterclass from Manu van Kersbergen, alias MANU. After that, they get to work developing a live programme for the Proeftuin Stage.

During this hour, you can hear, see, and experience the results of all their hard work.
