Like last year, edition 2024 will feature a concert exclusively for the Friends of Oranjewoud Festival. And just like last year, this concert will take place in the attic of Oranjewoud Estate and we will give space to young talent. This time you can enjoy British cellist Maxim Calver winner of the Oranjewoud Festival Prize 2024 at the Schiermonnikoog Festival. Together with pianist Gorka Plada Giron, he presents a short program of some of the most popular works for cello and piano, including Schumann's romantic Fantasiestücke and Mendelssohn's joyous Cello Sonata in D.
