Suddenly, it was back—the white-tailed eagle! The largest bird in Europe disappeared from the Netherlands a hundred years ago, but since 2006, it has been seen here again. It is a sign of hope for nature lovers and a delight for birdwatchers. In Arend, you meet two bird enthusiasts, Arend and Merel, who are searching for the white-tailed eagle. You also encounter Mees, a little bird who is searching too—not for the eagle, but for love. What will they discover on their journey? Will we see the white-tailed eagle soaring overhead?
