From May 23 to 29, 2023, the Atlas Ensemble's first residency at Oranjewoud Festival will take place. This culminates in the premiere of the first of a series of new compositions Joël Bons is writing for Oranjewoud Festival. In the run-up to this special performance, you can meet a number of international star soloists from Asia and the Middle East who are part of the Atlas Ensemble.
Today you will hear Azerbaijani kamancha player Elshan Mansurov and Chinese erhu player Yan Jiemin joined by cellist Lidy Blijdorp.
