Proximity is a project by Strijbos & Van Rijswijk. It is both an instrument and a composition, bringing together music, space, and technology. It was specially designed for the deer park at Landgoed Oranjestein.

Together with harpist Remy van Kesteren and singer-songwriter LUWTEN, new musical material was created using loops, drones, field recordings, and synthesizers. The spatial composition employed 3D audio and visual elements to create a dialogue between the audience, the music, and the location.

In their studio-lab, The Cockpit, they developed new software and an audio interface for live creation and performance.
