Queer Conversations

A multi-voiced listening installation about queer identity, joy, and connection

With Queer Conversations, Robyn Marshall presents an intimate listening installation in which voices from the queer community of Friesland come together with cello and electronics. Personal stories of pride, vulnerability, and joy form a layered sonic landscape.

The cello and electronic sounds move alongside the voices, creating space for what is being shared. This results in a work that sounds different each time—alive, spontaneous, and shaped by the people who are part of it.

Queer Conversations is a tribute to queer community and visibility, inviting audiences to listen to the richness and diversity of identity.
