Jaap Mulder (clarinet, trombone, flugelhorn, saxophone, and vocals), founder of Di Gojim (1988), one of Europe’s first professional klezmer bands, invited Gilles Puyfagès (accordion) and Simon Andrieux (tuba) to form Gare de L’Est. This breathtaking trio from France gets you dancing to the music of Eastern Europe. With Balkan, Gypsy, and Klezmer music, they invite you to board the rhythmic and melodic locomotive of these exceptional musicians. Three artists from diverse backgrounds, who have performed on stages around the world, exploring new musical horizons.
