Experience the landscape around Museum Belvédère from a unique perspective—namely, from the roof.
Your Acoustic Horizon by composer duo Strijbos & Van Rijswijk and visual artist Marc van Vliet is a sound observation post. It is intended both as an inward-looking experience and as a way of heightening awareness of the surroundings. The installation functions as a facilitator that allows the landscape itself to resonate.

Boats with wind players
As you walk across the museum roof and take a seat here and there, you look out over the landscape. You hear how the musical composition blends with sounds from locations and activities spread across the park landscape, both near and far. These also include staged elements, such as the crunch of gravel under the feet of passersby and boats with musicians sailing back and forth on the surrounding waters. The sounds are shared via livestreams, processed in real time, and interwoven with the existing composition.
