Trio con Brio is a winner of the Carl Nielsen and Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Award, one of Denmark's most prestigious cultural awards.

Trio Con Brio plays Tchaikovsky

In Oranjewoud, the trio will play D'un soir triste and D'un matin du printemps by the talented but young Lili Boulanger. The lion's share of the concert, however, is taken up by Tchaikovsky's monumental piano trio. He wrote it in memory of his dear friend and teacher, pianist Nikolai Rubinstein, who had died shortly before. This piano trio is among the masterpieces of the classical canon.
