Jaber Fayad Quintet

Being homesick is always difficult, but the pain becomes unbearable when there is no way to reunite with your homeland or reconnect with loved ones. Hopeless Nostalgia is a musical project consisting of six crossover compositions by ud player and composer Jaber Fayad. These pieces were written in Syria and the Netherlands in an attempt to capture the feeling of loss and not belonging anywhere.  

Jaber Fayad Quintet consists of a group of musicians from different cultural and musical backgrounds. Together they take you on the journey of Hopeless Nostalgia.
