Especially for Friends of Oranjewoud Festival , we are organizing an exclusive performance at Oranjewoud Estate.
In recent months, young composer Primo Ish-Hurwitz has been in the spotlight with his project Toonzetters. As a Friend, you will witness the premiere of his new Sonata for baritone saxophone and piano. He will also talk about the work and engage in conversation with the audience.
Also on the program is the first movement from Johannes Brahms' Cello Sonata No. 1 in the arrangement for baritone saxophone and piano. Performers are Portuguese saxophonist Mafalda Oliveira, one of the members of Maat Saxophone Quartet heard at the festival with The Call of the Semantron at Museum Belvédère, and pianist Marta Mata, also from Portugal.
Registered Friends will hear soon when and how tickets can be ordered. Be quick as the number of tickets is very limited.
