Arts and culture contribute to a connected society in which there is a place for everyone, regardless of cultural background, gender, disability, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, level of education and age.
Artistic vision
In classical music, tradition and innovation are not opposites but two sides of the same coin. While the wealth of classical repertoire accumulated over the centuries contributes to a traditional image, innovation is the essence that has always kept classical music alive and moving - from Monteverdi to AI. Classical music is constantly in transition.
Mission
Oranjewoud Festival wants to let people hear, see and feel that classical music is alive, endlessly colorful and of value to everyone. That is why we dedicate ourselves in various ways to keeping the genre current and relevant in the twenty-first century.
