Give a Toegift (encore)

‘Give a Toegift’ (encore) grows out of our mission to make classical music accessible to as many people as possible. Inspired by the suspended coffee concept — a project in which customers at cafés can pay for an extra cup of coffee that can later be enjoyed by someone with fewer financial means — we introduced the ‘suspended ticket’.

How it works

When purchasing one or more festival tickets, visitors to Oranjewoud Festival are asked whether they would like to buy an extra ticket for someone who would love to attend a concert but cannot afford to do so. The extra tickets purchased in this way are distributed to interested recipients through organisations such as the local Food Bank. As a donor of a Give an Encore ticket, you can therefore be assured that your gift will reach the right people. Recipients are also guaranteed anonymity.
