Price and validity
A parking ticket costs €5 and can also be ordered online. Parking tickets are valid for the entire day. If you leave the parking lot temporarily, the vehicle’s license plate must be recorded in order to re-enter.

Other parking options
In addition to the central parking lot, parking is available at one of the parking areas of Museum Belvédère:

  • Oranje Nassaulaan 12, Heerenveen
  • Woudsterweg, Heerenveen (Access route via De Knipe)

The walking distance to De Proeftuin from here is approximately 1.3 kilometers.

Bicycles
Since this year, bikes can also be reserved online for €15 per day. The bikes can be picked up and returned at the central parking lot.

The concert venues are all within walking distance of De Overtuin, opposite Landgoed Oranjewoud (Lindelaan 1, 8453 JD Oranjewoud).
Bikes are also available for rent, allowing you to move between the venues more quickly.

More about concert locations

On the following page, you will find all the details regarding the accessibility of the festival for visitors with specific disabilities. If you have any questions or need assistance during your visit, please don’t hesitate to contact us via contact@oranjewoudfestival.nl.

Accessability Page

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the Overtuin, the area where Festivalhart de Proeftuin, the Family Zone, and the FB Oranjewoud Pavilion are located. The only exception to this is guide dogs.
On other outdoor locations, bringing dogs is not a problem, as long as it does not disturb the musicians or other visitors.

Tip: The Tuimelaarsbos is a designated off-leash area. In other public spaces, dogs must be kept on a leash.

Last-minute program changes may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. As a visitor, you will be informed about this in advance via email. Good to know: the most up-to-date information is always available on the website.

Rain… we don’t really want to think about it, but it can of course happen. All concerts will generally proceed as planned, even if it rains. Almost all venues are indoors or covered. In case of any changes, we will inform you via email, so be sure to check for a message from us shortly before your visit. The terraces of Festivalhart de Proeftuin are also mostly covered and will be heated in cooler weather.

Below you will find the service email that will be sent to all ticket buyers at the end of May with practical information about Oranjewoud Festival 2026.

Kom later terug

To access Festivalhart de Proeftuin and the FamilyZone, you will need an access ticket in the form of a festival wristband.

This access ticket costs €5 per day and is included with individual concert tickets and the festival passes. Be sure to pick up your wristband before the box office closes.

For youth up to 18 years old, the festival wristband for the daytime program is free.
From 18.00 onwards, everyone aged 13 and older will be charged €5 for entry.
