Just like every year, the Oranjewoud Festival opens with an accessible and sparkling performance, suitable for all ages. This time, violinist Aleksey Igudesman (world-famous from the comedic-musical duo Igudesman & Joo) and percussionist & composer Lucy Landymore present “Chill & Thrill.”
This original concert performance is full of humor and flair. From Bach and Mozart, reimagined in a surprising new style, to meditative soundscapes and exhilarating Latin American rhythms—their brilliant interplay effortlessly moves between virtuosity, swing, and stillness. The result is an unforgettable mix of playfulness and expression.
