Soprano Panorama

Imagine looking out over the landscape of Oranjewoud while surrounded by an invisible chorus that moves with the wind. Fragments of lyrics, of lines of poetry send your gaze forward over the horizon. Echoing from unsuspected loudspeakers placed both near and far, vocals drift in the wind and merge into your perception. The sounds connect landscape and man, inviting you to unfold your own thoughts. Soprano Panorama is a place for reflection, contemplation and introspection. Composer duo Jeroen Strijbos and Rob van Rijswijk are known for their groundbreaking and sensational music projects. With sound art installations and compositions, they span landscape areas like an enormous canvas. They explore relationships between music, space and landscape and the audience's role in experiencing them. By actively influencing and shaping the listener's personal experience, the audience can to some extent create their own story.
