The music of the Martí Mitjavila Trio, founded by the young jazz clarinetist and saxophonist of the same name, is rooted in the jazz tradition, but at the same time has a progressive approach. The trio focuses on lesser-known pieces from the Great American Songbook and Martís own compositions. In 2022, the trio released the album "Round the Corner" under ZenneZ Records. Martí is also co-founder of The Fried Seven, the renowned trad-jazz ensemble that released their debut album Late to the Party in 2024 under Rivermont Records.
