Fra Fra Sound

Fra Fra Sound blends jazz, African rhythms, dance music from the Caribbean and Surinamese Kaseko, bringing together a wide range of melodies, grooves and themes from different cultures in a jazz setting. During the world tours Fra Fra Sound brings together musical styles from diverse traditions into one unique sound.

Fra Fra Sound has now been around for over 35 years and has played on major international stages and festivals in more than 50 countries in Europe, the Caribbean, South America, Asia and the United States. One of the many highlights in Fra Fra Sound's history was performing for Nelson Mandela in South Africa at the World Environment Summit in 2002.
