The "Samen-Ien-Project" is a composite group of about 30-35 people, consisting of members of the choir "de Reade Hoeke", participants in the library's language/speech center, members of the Rainbow community as well as artists, each in their own way giving a small performance about their own history. Musically, the choir will be supported by members of the Heerenveen Music Corps.

Together they will provide a performance based on the theme, "Where are your roots?" There will be singing in different languages, guitar music played and poetry recited. A 1604 speech on refugees written by William Shakespeare will also be heard.

In between there will be conversations with the participants about where they come from. Recurring theme is the song "This is your Land, this is my Land," a translation by Jan Rot of the song "This is your Land, this is my Land" by Woody Cuthrie.

At the conclusion, we sing the Dona Nobis Pacem together with the audience.
