Two violins, a cello, a piano - and an abundance of creative energy: for more than 20 years, the four virtuosos of Salut Salon have performed their "masterpieces of "classical" comedy" (The New York Times) in the world's most prestigious concert halls. They enchant their audiences with thrilling journeys between Vivaldi and vocal acrobatics, tango and crime themes, rap and Rachmaninov.

With their new program heimat, launching in 2025, Salut Salon celebrates the final part of their concert trilogy. After Love and Dreams, they now explore another profound and all-encompassing theme. A word that rolls effortlessly across the tongue, but immediately raises questions: What exactly does "heimat" mean? Is it a place? A tradition? A feeling? Is it the people around us? Or perhaps words, languages, sounds?

For the musicians of Salut Salon, the idea of "heimat" is a particularly moving subject. Coming from diverse backgrounds - from Hamburg, Estonia, Ukraine and the US - they now travel the world together, taking their music to all corners of the globe. Along the way, they have gathered an extraordinary repertoire: works by Mozart, Saint-Saëns and Copland, songs from Finland, France and Egypt, well-known and lesser-known pieces, their own compositions and - as in every program - Astor Piazzolla's Tango Nuevo. Each of these pieces reflects in its own way the deep and complex understanding of "heimat.

With their unique style and effortless virtuosity, the four musicians bring this rich musical universe to life and turn it into an unforgettable concert experience. And in doing so, they give their own answer: Salut Salon is at home in the world - and their true "heimat" is music.
